i’m GABRIELLE.

keeping it sensitive/emotional/magical circa 1989

With over 7 years of experience photographing events in New Orleans, I’ve been witness to hundreds of weddings, elopements and celebrations of love. With all of these experiences, I’ve learned a few things and created my own space of magic within the sometimes overwhelming world that is the wedding industry.

I unabashedly promote individualism and the belief that our own vulnerability is our greatest super power. I also firmly believe that all of these things are paramount to the photography experience. How we relate to each other and how we LOVE each other as humans is the driving force behind my work.

As a highly sensitive person(hsp) empathy, attention to detail and deep appreciation for beautiful things are my superpowers.

Together with my clients we create images of authenticity with room to breathe. We are not afraid of the messy or the weird or the grit - it’s what makes us human and beautiful.

This journey of self discovery, self creation and self love is what led me to thrive as a wedding photographer. It’s something I’m so passionate about - I feel it’s what I was created to do.

fast facts with gabrielle:

  1. I have three children and a cat(although I’m a lover of all creatures, great and small).

  2. I learned the basics of photography on a film camera and still love to incorporate film into my work!

  3. An extroverted introvert, I appreciate living slowly and doing things that I enjoy with my small but very important circle of family and loved ones.

  4. My favorite color is pink, my favorite drink is an iced chai and my favorite flavor is cinnamon.

I’m a firm believer in a truly inclusive, creative, unique wedding industry where everyone has a voice and everyone can celebrate their nuptials how they want.

The most joyous part of my work is meeting people from all different walks of life, from all over the world, all in love and all wanting the same thing - to have their wedding day documented with intention, joy, a smidge of weirdness and whole lot of heart.

As your photographer, I promise:

+to go into each and every wedding day with joy, kindness, vulnerability and a “can do” attitude

+to remind you to take a deep breath, take a step back, realign and do what brings you joy and comfort.

+to always advocate for equality. I am a proud lgbtqia ally and believe in a world where we all sit at the table.
