Yesterday I directed my first styled shoot and to say it went well is an understatement! I have had this idea to gather together all of my favorite vendors for a day of creativity, girl talk, and letting our talents flourish. I feel so overwhelmed with love for these wonderful ladies. Although the forecast called for rain, we bolstered together and made something really special. The light was soft and diffused(my favorite kind) and the rain held off for us to capture the magic that we created together.
I was inspired for this shoot by effortless, French bridal style...easy makeup, loose florals, chic up-dos. This first look featured below is so versatile; you could honestly wear this look in any season! I think it works so well in autumn/winter and pops against a moody backdrop. If you're chilly, pop a sweater over the dress and you're good to go!
A huge thank you to the vendors who made all of this possible:
