Hotel Peter and Paul Micro Wedding with Moody Florals and Opulent European Inspired Details | New Orleans, Louisiana

From the moment Chelsea showed up in my inbox to the day of her and Caleb’s wedding, we vibed. Not only did the planning process feel like a collaboration, but it was seamless and effortless. She had a vision, I had a vision and they aligned perfectly.

Hotel Peter and Paul was the perfect choice of venue for the opulent micro wedding they hosted for their immediate families. Just wow. One of the most visually stunning and inspiring hotels in New Orleans(my personal favorite), you can’t help but feel transported to France or Italy with every furnishing so thoughtfully curated.

What I loved most about how Chelsea and Caleb planned their micro wedding, was how they blended seemingly traditional elements with lots of flexibility. They had a morning wedding, followed by a private sit down lunch in the overwhelmingly beautiful old church. They also opted to read their vows privately in the form of handwritten letters to each other; yet another way to inject special moments throughout the day.

Every single detail was well thought out, executed to perfection and best of all, easy. No muss, no stress - just love. Just how I like it.

My favorite detail? Chelsea’s Jenny Packham gown was NEXT LEVEL.

My favorite photo? The photo of their feet walking down the rectory stairs was one of those cute, perfect moments as it was happening. Chelsea and Caleb slowly came to step in sync and both took a microsecond to take that last step to the tile floor below. It was as if they each took one last big breath before going into the ceremony.
